Physicochemical treatment is one of the basic technologies in the process of wastewater treatment to remove inorganic impurities andsome organic substances in wastewater through coagulation - floccualation combined with sedimentation/flotation system.
Coagulation/Flocculation system
The solid in the wastewater will be mixed with chemicals (alum, polymer...) through specific equipment to create a coagulation - flocculation reaction, depending on the characteristics of the wastewater, the flocs will be removed according to the corresponding technology.

Sedimentation - Flotation technology
Wastewater after the process of coagulation - flocculation will be separated into sludge and clear water. Depending on the conditions of the wastewater, sedimentation or flotation system (also known as DAF - Dissolved Air Flotation tank) will be applied to separate between phases.
